The Rustic Weathered finish highlights the natural timber grain with a unique, textured appearance, preserving the rough-sawn look while enhancing it with wax and oils for a striking two-tone rustic effect, perfect for those who value the authentic, artisanal charm of rustic wood.
The Modern Planed finish provides a sleek, smooth surface with a uniform appearance and consistent colour tone, making it ideal for contemporary settings that favour a clean, refined, and sophisticated look.
Clear wax is similar to natural raw oak. The finish is semi translucent and in the rougher / courser areas of the grain the wax grabs to create a light grey tone.
Forest brown is similar to honey oak. The finish has a golden colour and in the rougher / courser areas of the grain the wax grabs to create a deep rustic orange tone.
Lime wax has a shabby chic look to it. The finish has a pale/white colour and in the rougher / courser areas of the grain the wax grabs to create a chalky white tone.
Rugger brown is similar to medium oak. The finish has a light brown colour and in the rougher / courser areas of the grain the wax grabs to create a deeper rustic brown tone.
Jacobean is similar to walnut or mahogany but without the red tones. The finish has a brown colour and in the rougher / courser areas of the grain the wax grabs to create a deeper dark brown tone.
Grey wash has a contemporary feel to it. The finish has a medium grey colour and in the rougher / courser areas of the grain the wax grabs to create a dark grey tone.
Antique Oak has a light brown finish inbetween forest brown & rugger brown and is ideal for customers looking for a very natural earthy colour tone. The perfect match to internal oak doors.
TBC means we will wait for you to confirm your wax finish post purchase. We recommend this option if you need to wait for your timber samples to arrive.
Formulated to offer excellent results on kiln-dried pine, Fiddes Supreme Wax Polish contains a unique, environmentally friendly blend of waxes that naturally enhances the beauty of your wood. We advise to maintain once a year & of course, we are happy to advise on this.
Hard Wax Oil gives a highly durable water and stain resistant finish that is child safe when dry. Can also be used outside and has UV protective qualities. It is recommended that outdoor tables are covered during adverse weather and in the winter.
Satin black powder coat provides a tough protective layer. Our unique surface conditioning operation on all steel provides a beautifully clean and uniform look. Our coatings are recommended for indoor use only.
The clear coat of lacquer over raw steel with visible welds provides a gracious raw industrial finish. Our coatings are recommended for indoor use only. Contact us prior to ordering if you wish to use the table outside.
We are able to offer an any RAL colour powder coat finish. Please provide the required RAL colour in the below text box. All powder coats are satin finish and provide a tough protective layer. We will supply two leaf extensions at either end of your table. The extendable leaf's are attached via a robust cantilever timber frame that enables the dining table to be enlarged to a desired size. When not in use the leaf's can be conveniently stored away. Assembly time is 4 minutes.

We also offer an optional upgrade of Fiddes Hard Wax oil natural. Hard Wax Oil gives a highly durable water and stain resistant finish that is child safe when dry. The Blencathra Dining table combines a classic X frame industrial leg design with natural rustic tones of the tabletop. This table is perfect for adding a classic, rustic industrial look to your home.


Handcrafted by only our most skilled artisans - obsessive perfectionists who care deeply about what they make, knowing that each piece has to stand up to the test of time whilst been sturdy and functional.


The rustic weathered table top is made of ethically sourced PEFC Kiln Dried Pine and is available in 6 premium Fiddes wax or oil finishes that highlight the natural beauty of the wood. We strive to maintain as much of the rustic patina in the wood as possible as we believe that adds tremendous character.


The table legs are constructed from high-quality 80mm x 40mm steel box structure, these legs are sturdy and reliable and are available in three standard finishes. We also offer a bespoke RAL colour finish for those looking for something more unique.

Indoor Use Only These are indoor tables, if you wish to use outdoors please choose hard wax oil finish and contact us to enquire further.


Timber Made from 38mm or 50mm Scandinavian Redwood Kiln-Dried Pine with a double coat of Fiddes Premium Wax Polish - Rustic weathered patina. 


Legs are made from 75x25mm or 80x40mm box section steel (depending on size and weight load requirement for the table) and are available in black, silver/light grey powder coat, raw steel clear lacquer with visible welds or custom powder coat colour. 


Assembly & Fixings Table tops and legs are supplied disassembled. Attaching the legs involves using a Philips screwdriver with the supplied fitting hardware you will receive with the legs. The flexibility of attaching the legs means that they can be positioned according to the required leg or bench setup i.e. if chairs are needed at each end of the table the legs would be inset further than if only chairs and benches are used at either side. For any further questions regarding assembly please contact us directly as we are more than happy to assist.


After care Wipe clean only, do not place hot items directly onto the surface.

Lead Time: 4-6 weeks dispatched via a dedicated 2 man courier which can extend delivery times by 3 to 10 days. 


We will contact you when your order movers into production and again to arrange a convenient delivery date. Our white glove courier will then take over communication texting or calling you on the day of delivery to arrange a convenient time for delivery.
